        Originally from Tasmania , Liza started out in Classical music playing Cello
   and singing in her mum's Gospel singing group.  She grew up in the Blue Mountains
   supporting touring bands at a very young age, and then she moved to Sydney where
   her love of artists such as Ann Peebles, Gladys Knight and Tony Joe White led her immerse
   herself in the Blues, Jazz, Soul  and Funk scene.
  Liza  has worked  with  some of Australias and overseas artists such as , Tony Neville (Neville Brothers), Regina Valesquez,  sepia roomRichard Clapton, Ian Moss,  Continental Robert Susz, Ray Beadle, Kevin Bennett, Jon Stevens and on many top Blues Artists albums such as  Alison Penney and Matt Ross as well as being a featured artist on Tony Cini’s Blues Explosion 2014. She is also starring in “ Pearl” The Janis Joplin Show touring around Aust in  2015/16.

   After years on the Sydney circuit Liza released her first original album “Trouble Goin’ Down”, which took the Blues world by storm. With a swag of Blues songs laced with Soul, Jazz, Funk and Gospel Harmonies,  It won her 3 AUSTRALIAN BLUES CHAIN AWARDS  in  2013 BEST FEMALE VOCALIST, BEST NEW TALENT and BEST PRODUCER with Husband Greg Ohlback -  as well as a nomination in the Dolphin Awards and a finalist in the  Music Oz awards, and has featured in the top ten of radio stations playlists.

   In Nov 2015 Liza released her new CD “Give You Hell”  Featuring Guest appearances from Continental Rob Susz, Ise and Nathan from BLUE EYES CRY and Rick Melick from Joe Bonamassa Band It has reached no 2 on the Australian Blues Charts and has stayed up for over 10 months.sepia2
    “Give you Hell” is a Blues Album flavoured with a nostalgic 1940’s style Jazz flavour, and blended with Memphis style Horns and Liza’s trademark Gospel Style Harmonies. 

   Liza has now been recognised as one of the top Female Blues/Jazz artists, playing at Thredbo Blues, Blues Fest Byron, Manly Jazz, Australian Blues Fest,  Blues On Broadbeach and Sydney Blues Festivals as well as the Basement, Lizottes, Camelot Lounge  and many other top venues.
